Women who are pregnant with their first child may benefit from Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Nurse-Family Partnership, which is free to all eligible women in Franklin County. When enrolled, a specially trained nurse visits the woman’s home throughout her pregnancy and continues to visit until the child is 2 years old. You can join as early in your pregnancy as you like, but enrollment is no later than 28 weeks gestation. Your nurse will visit every week or two, during your pregnancy and up until your baby is 2 years old. You and your nurse will decide the exact schedule.
