At LSS CHOICES clients have access to these social services:

24-HOUR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CRISIS, INFORMATION AND REFERRAL LINE: Hotline staff is trained in safety planning and also provide information as well as referrals based on caller's individual needs.

TEMPORARY EMERGENCY SHELTER: Offers a safe refuge for victims and their children who are in imminent danger and have no safe place to go.

LEGAL & COMMUNITY ADVOCATES: Legal advocates located within the municipal court system offer support, gather information, assist with filing criminal charges and obtain protection orders to help victims navigate the court system. Community advocates help connect victims with other programs and services to overcome barriers related to domestic violence.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COUNSELING AND PEER SUPPORT GROUPS: Offers individual counseling licensed professionals to aid in recovery from trauma related to domestic violence and facilitator-led peer support groups.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION: Provides community education on domestic violence in general and CHOICES' programs and services specifically. Contact us if you need a speaker or an information table for your event.

KENNEL: Pets are able to stay in a designated area and receive veterinary care through our partnership with Columbus Humane.
