IMPACT Community Action Financial Wellness Programs

PROSPERITY NOW: supports individuals learning and applying basic financial principles that help manage debt more effectively, encourage saving and develop a financial strategy towards better money management. (self-sufficiency) Financial principles include banking, build/ rebuild credit, debt management and saving. This class offers a $100 stipend.

Who's Eligible: Franklin County residents 18 and older Must be at or below 200% of Federal Poverty guidelines

Documentation Needed: Picture ID, SS Card, 30 days proof of income Eligibility: 200% of FPL. Franklin County residents 18 or older.

Classes are done in-person M-F 10AM-3PM. Participants interested in the Side Hustle program will need to take this series first.

SIDE HUSTLE: Introductory entrepreneur class that gives the tools, and the support to launch and maintain a small 1-2-person micro-enterprise while maintaining your day job. This series in a 4-week commitment to evening classes.

Class Benefits:
- Opportunity to earn $400 in Training Stipends
- Have an opportunity to engage in fundraising activities
- Get an Expedited OH Business Registration and IRS Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Support with logo and/or web page design (if applicable)
- 500 Business Cards from Vistaprint Referral for Business Attire Hard Copy
- Training and Reference Materials will be provided
