Open Shelter (1037 Parsons Ave, 43206): Offers assistance to those who are homeless and marginally housed. Go in-person to make an appointment for service from 10AM-2PM from Monday-Friday. Call 614-222-2885 for more details.

Stone Village Church (139 E. 2nd Ave, 43201): ID assistance on Tuesdays at 9AM, and they can be reached at 614-579-5493. Voucher only covers the cost of an Ohio Birth Certificate. Stone Village's program does not assist with obtaining an out-of-state Birth Certificate. Those in need must be born in the state of Ohio and have a referral letter from an accredited organization or agency, illustrating their need for the Birth Certificate voucher. The referral letter need only convey the person's name and their need for assistance to obtain an Ohio Birth Certificate.

Community Development for All People (946 Parsons Ave, 43206): Assistance with Ohio Birth Certificates and State Identification card. We assist people through the application process and cover the cost of the birth certificate or state ID.
Walk in Mondays 10:30AM-1:00PM (except when the office is closed for a holiday). You do not need an appointment, and you do not need to bring any documents with you. Checks are mailed weekly on Fridays. Processing of checks for state IDs and birth certificates can take up to one week. The health department can take up to three weeks to process birth certificates. We do not issue identification documents. We cover the cost of obtaining identification documents from state agencies and help with the application process. Please call 614-445-7342.
