In partnership with the Local History & Genealogy department of Columbus Metro Libraries, Hilltop Historian Jennie Keplar will be presenting The History of Westgate on Thursday, April 18th at 6PM. This is an in-person event, and live-streaming of the presentation has yet to be confirmed. Attendees can expect to hear about the early years of the Hilltop and Franklinton leading into the need to develop property west of Hague Ave., the influential people who made Westgate their home, the political influence of Westgaters, how some Westgate streets received their names, and much more.
