From Greenhouse to Garden: A Practical IPM Workshop

The workshop will open at Highland Youth Garden with a guided walkthrough led by their team, where you will see how integrated pest management principles apply in a community garden setting. From there, participants will cross Broad Street to Mid-Ohio Farm for a panel discussion featuring growers from both sites sharing their approaches to pest and disease management. The evening will close with an up-close walk through Mid-Ohio Farm’s greenhouse for a look at IPM strategies in a high-tech growing environment.

What to Bring

Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes you do not mind getting dirty

A notebook or something to take notes

Questions for the growers

**This is a tree nut and peanut free zone. Please do not bring any of these items to the farm. if you have consumed these items, please wash hands immediately before entering the multi-purpose building.
