Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio (LASCO) will be at the Hilltop Library (511 S. Hague Ave, 43204) on select Mondays from 4-6PM to answer questions. First come, first served. Topics include:
- Landlord/Tenant: problems with housing conditions, eviction discrimination, retaliation
- Education: problems with IEP, enrollment, school removal
- Family: divorce, custody, child support, civil protection orders
- Tax: programs with tax refund, IRS, fraud tax preparer, identity theft, tax debt
- General: non-criminal questions, referrals to LASCO and provide general legal info
To receive free advice, you must have a gross household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Please be prepared to show proof of immigration status (if a non-citizen). Attorneys are available to answer questions only, and they will not attend court with you.
