Building Bridges: Celebrating New Americans in Columbus (Ubuntu Series)

The Department of Neighborhoods will host its fourth 2025 session of the Ubuntu Series: Unity Conversations Across Cultures. The theme is “Building Bridges: Celebrating New Americans in Columbus”.  This session is designed to foster collaboration and promote inclusion, belonging and access to opportunities through civic engagement and shared storytelling.

We are pleased to announce that we will have leaders from the following organizations leading discussions:

Community Refugee and Immigration Services (CRIS), Ethiopian Tewahedo Social Services (ETSS), and Jewish and Family Services (JFS) to share valuable expertise, lived experience that will help anchor our dialogue and inspire meaning action.

To contribute or learn from this last 2025 session of our Unity Conversations series, please register to secure your seat by  clicking here . The earlier you complete your registration, the better, as we anticipate having more participants. Refreshments will be provided.
