I’m Soccer is the world’s game, a universal language that brings children and families together across cultures, neighborhoods, and backgrounds. As part of this year’s historic Westgate Bean Dinner Festival, we are thrilled to offer a FREE, fun, and recreational 3v3 youth soccer experience for children ages 8 and under!

AGE EXCEPTION: NOTE: This is generally for children age 8 and under, If 9-10 year olds want to sign up, please identify 6-7 other 9-10 year olds you want to play with at the same time and field. Have them individually sign up too

Our goal is simple: create a welcoming environment where children from all of our west side communities, including our growing Somali and Hispanic communities, can play, laugh, learn, and build new friendships together through sports.

Event Details

Where: Westgate Park (Three small-sized 3v3 fields will be set up!)

When: Saturday, June 27 at 11:00 AM – 4:00PM. Basic thinking is 4 players per team, (2) 15  minute halves, and a 5 minute halftime. Generally 3 players on field at one time per team. One adolescent/teen coach per team per game. A total of 6 planned sessions which includes time in between games for changeover.

Cost: FREE! * Experience: None required! Beginners are highly encouraged and warmly welcome. Volunteer soccer helpers will be on hand to organize games and assist our young players.
