You are cordially invited to the 20th Annual South Central Hilltop Night (Day) Out Festival which celebrates ties with law enforcement, promotes anti-violence initiatives in our neighborhood, and fosters community connection. This event will take place Saturday, August 16th, 2025, from 1-4 pm in Burroughs Park (551 S. Richardson Ave).

South Central Hilltop ‘Day Out’ is held in conjunction with National Night Out, a nationwide celebration observed on the first Tuesday of August. However, we have scheduled our event on an August Saturday during the day to accommodate more resources for various groups celebrating National Night Out on the first Tuesday evening. This timing also enables families to enjoy the day together in our neighborhood park.

If you are interested in sponsoring an activity, contributing a gift card for the “Famous Free Drawing,” or setting up a resource booth, please contact me, Lisa Boggs, at lisaboggs693@sbcglobal.net or 614-264-0195. We are also seeking volunteers for various tasks the day of the event and speakers to say a few remarks at the “Opening Ceremony.”

All sponsors, regardless of their level of support, will be acknowledged on our “Thank You, Sponsor!” board, which will be prominently displayed at the event. Supporters will also be recognized in other communications and listed on event pages.

We extend our sincere gratitude for your continued support of the Hilltop community. As our area families prepare for the upcoming school year, this event provides a necessary and enjoyable experience for them.
