Franklinton Development Association (Financial Life-skills Program)

Franklinton Development Association is a not-for-profit community development corporation that works on the westside. FDA offers a Financial Life-skills Program that is open to residents living in Columbus. The program teaches residents money management and job-training skills. The program reviews your relationship with money, budgeting, banks and credit, loan and debt management, job-training and entrepreneurship, and taxes and risk management. While in the program, participants are connected with other organizations and resources in the neighborhood through guest speakers and materials. Graduates from the program receive a financial incentive upon completion of the program.
